Protect Our Water from Toxic Mining Pollution
Several foreign-owned companies are interested in operating a new kind of mining — with a long history of causing toxic pollution in other states — in Minnesota’s Arrowhead region. We will work with legislators and the new administration to make improvements to financial assurance and water protection requirements so that this new type of mining will not threaten our water and taxpayers won’t be left paying the bill for pollution clean-up.
